According to Everest my Radeon 4870 is running at 8x PCI-E speed: "Bustype PCI Express 2.0 x16 @ x8". With the motherboard I got a small black chip that I've as instructed inserted in the top PCI-E slot while my 4870 is in the bottom slot.

Does anyone have any experience with this setup or similiar and know what I have to do to get it to run at x16?
