my windows explorer crashes, sometimes dr.watson post mortem debugger also when i open .avi files. also, lately it crashed when i just opened the folder or right click and go to customize. the error report always says this:

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: quartz.dll
ModVer: 6.5.2600.2180 Offset: 0002e61b

it never did that before i don't know what to do. i tried so far ad aware scans, spybot scans, microsoft antispyware scans, norton antivirus scans, and posting a hijack this (which didn't get a reply for 5 days so far) and i've tried downloading the latest directx and tried updating my graphics drivers to no avail. i really want to watch my avi files please help me!
