First time poster. I have just completed my first ever build and booted up for the first time. Problem is, the machine won't boot. All fans are running and everything seems to kick into life. However, there is a constant light by the ram, the motherboard manual suggests to push the memok test after trying to boot with a single stick of ram and change to try the other ram stick in case it doesn't work. The machine then goes on to start up several times to tune the ram, but still, it ends up back at the constant red light. Not getting any beeps, I plugged in the HDA and tried the AC'97 plug too, no beeps. The front panel lights come on, so I think everything should be plugged in correctly.

I have double checked system compatibility through several sources, so I can't think that there would be an issue elsewhere.
The hard drive I've installed is my old hard drive which I formatted for this purpose, so that should be clean and not cause any conflicts right? I am going to get a new hard drive eventually, but if this could be an issue I might just get it sooner rather than later. Any help appreciated.
