Hey, how is everyone? I'm very frustrated, and have been with Firefox as of late. Firefox is my favorite browser, but ever since I upgraded to the new "faster" version, it has been crashing.

I have Windows XP.

Now I've researched this and it seems that I'm not the only one. It typically happens when I'm watching any video, whether it's Youtube or NBC shows, it crashes. It also happens if I have multiple tabs open. I've tried disabling any and all plug-ins but that didn't work.

Wel I noticed that my virtual memory was low, so I decied to buy RAM off of Crucial.com, everyone said that's the best place to buy some. I figured that the problem was Firefox's new size, so more RAM would fix it. $90 bucks later and 2.5GB of RAM didn't help. I haven't seen a difference in my computer's performence either. -well I won't get into that problem here, I'll make a separate one.

I am now here, asking for help. What could be the problem? I've tried browsing Firefox on safe mode and I stil get the "crash" report.

Thank you for reading my post.

Okay I have followed ....FF just crashed again....Well as I was saying, I followed every step that the link said to. I deleted ALL trace of Mozilla Firefox, and d/l it again, installed it. I was really hoping that would help, thanks though.
So now we're back to square one, haha, any more suggestions? Oh my goodness, Broni, it crashed again as I was reading my post lol.

At this point....

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
