Vista & Virtual PC 2007 Query

Hi Everybody

I currently use a software synth Roland SoundCanvas 3.2 for midi playback, it really improves the instrument sound quality as opposed to SB sound card. However, it works great on XP but will not run on Vista Home Premium (its prob a quite old app). I would like to know if i installed MS Virtual PC 2007 on my Vista machine with XP as the GUEST OS would it run my software? Are there sound issues with this type of operation.
