Need help with Malware Removal

Hi first of thanks to any one for taking the time to read this...well my computer has been running pretty slow lately so i suspected some kind of malware. i tried installing malware bytes or spybot S&d and when i try installing the programs i get an installing error which is

acces violation at adress 74e6adc1. Write of adress 00000001 then i get another error saying Error creating window.

it does these 2 errors for both programs..also my computer is not reading any USB's do you think i have some kind of Malware???
