Yesterday I went to a site: NY State Notice of Eviction, and got a weird screen that said I was now infected with 7 viruses, trojans, et al, so I called my daughter who knows about computers; she looked at my computer and did a bunch of stuff and found a thing or two she deleted, then did a Malware and Spybot and my computer worked fine ALL DAY TODAY. Then she asked me if anything turned up on the Malware and Spybot searches and I told her something from "Vanquest" turned up yet again, so she downloaded some "root kit finder" tools and now my computer is NOT loading Zone Alarm and will NOT go online (Firefox) without ten minute delay. I restored to 10/18, the only date it would let me, and now I can't GO OFFLINE or I might not be able to GET ONLINE EVER AGAIN without reformat. HELP!!! I found my way here doing a google search,

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
