Hi folks,

I believe I have a virus on my system. It was my mistake though, cause I downloaded something and ran it. Ever since, my computer has been acting up. The problem is, I get blue screened every now and then. Also, my computer crashes (i.e. blue screens) every time i attempt to run MSN Messenger and WinRAR. I haven't tried running other software.

I had Norton AV but it didn't find anything on my system. Then i ran the free Active Scan online from Panda. That found a FEW viruses (or perhaps spyware). I then installed the full version of Panda AV and supposedly cleared my system.

The problem still persists though. Whenever i try to run MSN or WinRAR, I STILL get blue screened. I believe the virus was located in 'C:\WINDOWS\'. Also, I found a suspitious new directory called 'C:\WINDOWS\inet20013\'.

Panda seems to have removed these files from my computer, but I get the following error messages on startup:

Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\inet20013\Services.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

Windows cannot find 'init32x.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

Note #1: I get the first message twice.
Note #2: I have tried googling 'init32x.exe' but didn't get any hits. :tazz:

Here is my HighjackThis log:

I removed the dead links my computer was asking me for on startup using HighjackThis. However, I am still unable to run Messenger or WinRAR without it crashing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling back these programs with no luck. I tried running other software and they all seem to be running fine! Also, if i am to leave the computer on for about 1/2 hour.. it crashes!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
