I just installed windows 7 64 bit which is running well but I have just found I can't boot into the XP drive.
I have two seperate (no partitions) drives one with W7 and one with XP
When running Vista it would ask me which drive I wanted to go to (Vista being the default) but with W7 it dosn't ask.
I'm wondering if it is to do with the XP being 32 bit and W7 is 64 bit?
Is their a way I can boot into XP?

Hello iron mum...

Try EasyBCD and add the entry for WinXP to the bootloader that Windows 7 uses (BCD).

Thank you,
I downloaded EasyBCD and had a look at it.
I'll read the instrutions a few more times to make sure I understand it before I make any changes.
Will let you know how it goes.

It worked,
I downloaded the Beta version for W7 then read as much as I could about it before giving it a go and it worked first time.
I can't thank you enough for your help.
It's such an easy programme to use as long as you following the insructions and only took a couple of seconds but it saved me a lot of hassle.
Thank you again.
Iron mum.
