Hey guys,

I had a hp pavillion a1240n and one day it made an abrupt noise when i was using it and then a blue screen flashed for half a second and the computer turned restarted. Then, it showed the Windows XP loading screen and then the computer just restarted again. It would not allow me to enter into safe mode or anything as it would just restart if I tried.

Is this most likely a problem with the hard drive or maybe the motherboard or something?
