I somehow got somthing called wincodec? i have a small icon in my tray showing an error messege, no audio or video will play, also my display changes itself and im locked out of most system settings, task manager and control panel items. Can change display through gfx card controls but reverts back to 8bit and lowest resolution after a few min, have tried using spybot, adaware, norton and others, nothing found?? driving me nuts, any ideas?
