Alright. This happened a few days ago and I haven't been able to resolve it..

I have two computers connected to the internet via a Belkin Wireless Plus MIMO router. Everything's been working fine, but now the internet's so slow it almost seems as if it doesn't even work.

The internet only lags when BOTH machines use the internet.

Help?

Thanks in advance.

When it's not lagging..

According to speedtest.net, 5.02mb/s download, 0.65mb/s upload.

We have them installed, but they're not running.

When we're both trying to use the internet the speed's so slow the pages take like 3 minutes to load. I tried doing speed tests with both connected, but it's basically impossible.

I'll try again and post results if I'm successful. Thanks.

using any of the torrents is subjecting you to a possible malware infection ...
Please go to Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide...
HERE....

That will help you clean up 80 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty (and you may not be) follow the instructions start a new topic
here
post the OTListIt2 and Rooter logs ...
The "Topic Title" should contain the name of the infection that you are having a problem with...Use the "Topic Description" to include more details. This will help you get faster responses as some people are more familiar with certain infections....

if you are unable to download or run ANY of the tools...try downloading them on another computer and put them on a flash drive or cd and try installing them that way..
no joy...
start a new topic and let them know you can't run any of the tools..

I've already scanned with Malwarebytes and such. Been doing it every day since the problem. Nothing on the first machine, some stuff on the second.

Should I be following the cleaning guide for both machines?

My second computer's having issues with Trojans. Malwarebytes detects anywhere between 1-4. This one instance, it found 1. I ran it again and it found 4.. >_>;

And also, when it comes to RootRepeal, I'm stuck after step 6.

What shall I do now?

post in the malware forum ...be sure you let them know you can not run RootRepeal in the topic description and tell them I sent you over...
