Hi. Haven't popped in for almost 2 years. My monitor is flipping back and forth between dull and bright. Had this happen a couple months ago. Found that the monitor cord was loose at the back of the tower. Just checked all my connections and they are fine. I keep my monitor brightness at 10 so that my eyes don't get too strained. Can't handle a lot of bright. The setting is fine. Any thoughts as to why this is happening would be appreciated.

Have had this PC/monitor for 2 years. Vista Home Premium (love it, no problems with it so far). Don't know what other info you might want. Did a scan and there's nothing to report. Supposedly all's well in that department.

First thing to try is to hook up the monitor to another working computer and see, if same thing happens.
