My G50V laptop I just bought has a little bit of an issue. Nothing too major but kind of annoying. I recently installed Windows 7 onto it and now the second hard drive isn't in the "my computer" area of the computer. It is although in the "Device Manager" but just isn't showing it in the my computer part of the system. I did install my drivers and everything correctly.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi garreTT008
While I don’t have a firm answer for you, I may have found a relevant thread in the Windows 7 forums. Please follow this link and see if the information really does pertain to your situation http://bit.ly/6aFNh1 .
I hope this helps, if only to put you on the right path.

Hi garreTT008 and welcome to Geeks to Go.

While I am not windows trained, I still need some info.
What was the original OS on the unit?
Did the 2nd hard drive ever show up?
In device manager, does it show as unformatted/unallocated?
