spybot freezes upong finding win32...

Well, im not a huge computer person, hence why i cant get rid of this.

This virus/spyware freezes spybot and is completely immobilizing my computer. I cant use control alt delete, cant use google, changed my computers background, and spybot keeps on opening upon start up, and since it freezes, and i cant use cntrl alt dlt, im stuck. Can this be fixed or will i have to wipe my system clean, and have someone re-install xp?

please help!
