ok, so hey there,
so to come down with this, my
monitor has : 1 dvi and 1 D-Sub ports

my ps3 has hdmi (and others idk)

my computer has (2 dvi)

i am planning to setup my ps3 on the same monitor i use for my computer.

what im planning to do (is not remove the wire and put it back for the ps3), but connect my computer from dvi to dsub, and my pse from hdmi to dvi.

so that way my ps3 will degrade to dvi, and my PC will enter the D-Sub resolution of my monitor.

now what im trying to get at is,
is this at all possible?
and will i loose any resolution from my PC? (or quality?)

AND

if there isnt any major loss in quality, where can i buy a dvi to Dsub converter in Canada

Thanks,

Sincerely,
blue
