You can't use the key code for Pro to install Home version on your system. The question is what key code did you use then?

I'm pretty sure that he never used disk, as he was going to, but then got a new computer. So yeah. It was the keycode that he gave me with the disks. so a home keycode..

BTW I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner but i haven't been feeling to good.
OK so your system has a sticker on the side of it that says home Edition correct?
What you are attempting to install is a pro version correct?

I went to dell. The download wasn't working properly with firefox, it only worked with IE.
