i have a singer user serial number for xp. but don't know how to input this serial number for genuine activation.

I don't understand what you are asking. Is this your serial number and why would it need to be inputed if you are using your original reg key for your XP?

first i had non genuine version of win xp. later i purchased the xp. if i install this new xp my data would lost. is it possible to activate the xp currently i had with the new serial number.

i really dont think you will need to reinstall the windows xp...just activate your OS with the correct key code...you can do this by internet, modem, or over the phone.

i hope that helps!
