Am just building new system. Mobo is Asus m4a78TE. Am fitting an Aerocool fan controller to control side fan, rear fan, leaving one spare.

Question:

Would you hook up the final one to control the CPU fan or let the motherboard control the fan speed via Asus Cool and Quiet (onboard controller system)?

Finally, there are three probes included: for the Case, VGA and CPU. The Case and VGA are not a problem, however, where would you position the sensor in relation to the CPU since I assume to be of any use it has to be at the point where the most heat is generated (near the CPU face). Appreciate any advice.

Thanks to everyone looking and anyone who may be able to offer advice.
