Have wiped and placed a clean install of WXP Pro on a Dell Latitude D830. Found all drivers at the dell website except for one, the Network Controller driver. Does anyone know where I can get this driver?

Go HERE to the Dell drivers page and you will see all the original drivers for your system. Scroll down the list to Network and you will find 10 different drivers for that model. Now the important part is to figure out which driver you need.
Do you know which one it is?
If not let me know and we can run a report to find out which it is.

Okay, Have added the drivers that are from the Dell drivers page, but now the Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility says the driver is not installed, and the device manager has an explanation next to the Network Controller located under the 'Other Devices'. ??

If under Other Devices then right click on it and uninstall it. Then reboot and see if it returns.

Now what you need to do is save all those drivers to a CD and keep them in a safe place for next time.
