External Hard Drive

Hi, i have a Lenova external hard drive that came with my laptop. When i plug it into my computer:

However, when i click 'Create Recovery Media', this appears.

and i've checked and it does have the recovburncd.exe ...

Any help here? Thanks, much appreciated !

It seems that Lenova gave you a hard drive that was not formatted to be a external drive and they left the recovery CD software on the drive. If you do not have any data on the drive, i would see if you can reformat the drive in safe mode, going into disk management to do so.

A second method is to use a desktop computer to do the above. Hopefully the drive is USB so it would be easily hooked into any computer.
