Dell GWA4164B Problem?

Hi,

I have a HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B Dell 5150 and it will not read any DVD-R or CD-R discs? This drive was swapped from s 3100.

I have tried uninstalling and rebooting, and updating but it still will not read. Dvd and cd are no problem tho, just -Rs! Any ideas?
