I am unable to remove voicent after installing it and realized it wasn't what i was looking for... When I try to uninstall it from the installer setup or by going through control panel it gives me these prompts and their website does not have directions on how to uninstall... Should have been a indicator there not to install it...

Now i also have problems when I try to Skype only on the administrator user account? It tells me that the files skype needs to run can't be found and to download and reinstall it... I tried this and it did not help. I also tried deleting skype and once again failed. But skype does work on all normal user accounts!??? Any idea's?

I'm not familiar with this software you are attempting to uninstall but give this a try and see if it can get rid of it for you.

Download and install Revo Uninstaller
  • Double click the Revo Uninstaller icon on your desktop to start the program
  • Scroll through the listed programs and Right Click on the program you wish to uninstall
  • From the pop out menu choose Uninstall
  • Click Yes to the confirmation dialogue
  • In the next window select the Advanced mode
  • Click Next to start uninstalling the program
  • Answer Yes to confirm the uninstall
  • When the program has completed the four steps, click Next to allow the program to search for leftovers
  • Once complete, click Next, then Finish
  • Repeat the above steps for any other programs you wish to remove.

Grrr this program is a pain. Let's try this a different way.

Lets see what you have in your startup

Please click on
Start and then to Run
Type in msconfig and press Enter
Now click on Startups
Then uncheck everything that is related to this program and restart.
If system boots correctly and is running smoothly and faster then we have a startup problem
Try going back into msconfig and check one item and reboot
Keep doing that till you have found the problem or all are finally checked.
Post back with the results

:) i nipped it in the butt by canceling the uninstall and scanning! Then very carefully did a manual delete of the program files! Is risky i guess but it was fairly simple... Thanks for the extra startup info this helped me majorly to stop all the msnger programs that tried to run on startup and many other programs that didn't need to run on startup either! i thank you for the link to this revo unistaller! its fantastic! It will find and remove absolutely anything with a little know how and common sense! though i still haven't figured out how run skype on the administrator user account.... tells me to reinstall and i have tried it and to no avail it don't work.... any idea's mate?

You have lots of Autoruns I'm sure so let's take a look at them. Getting those down will help speed your system up also. You may have to use Revo and completely uninstall skyp then try to install it fresh.

Download Autoruns from the link in my signature below:
1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.
2: Double-click the "Autoruns.exe".
3: Click on the "Everything" tab
4: Remove any entries that mention "File Not Found" by right-clicking the entry and select Delete.
5: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.
6: Save AutoRuns.txt file to known location like your Desktop.
7: Attach to your next reply.

WOW it shouldn't be that big. Try this and see if you can upload then.

If your attachment is to big to attach then go to Mediafire .
Register and upload your file.
Then reply with the link located to the right of your now uploaded file on Mediafire
