i decided to switch out my processor back to my own(the one i was using was older) my computer turned on just fine, and I got onto my desktop and everything was normal. At the time i could not put in my usb extension thing(i cant remember what it was called, has 3 ports, printer port, serial port) i thought i deleted the hardware for it and it would just reinstall i accidentally deleted the usb hub and my 98 frose up, so i just shut it off and turned it back on. this is when the problem began. It was stuck in 16 Colours and in the biggest resolution, like 640*idk. I've tried to change it, it says it has to restart, but the resolution and colour stays the same. I think my registry cleaner might have deleted a crucial file. Help please.. :) :) Im not sure what all my drivers are,I am not near my 98.

You will need to find out what video card (or onboard video) you have in the computer. Do you know what make or model the computer is? Can you look at the motherboard and read any model code on it? You need to investigate into what you have so proper drivers can be found on the net for your computer.

I think my registry cleaner might have deleted a crucial file.

Bad move.

A registry cleaner will not increase your system's speed or performance, and has the potential to break your registry to the point that your PC is no longer bootable. We strongly advise that people stay away from any of the registry cleaners out there. Go HERE to get more information about why registry cleaners aren't needed.

Thanks to Sari for the explanation

Hello Friend,
Reinstall your monitor drivers and graphics card video drivers. If you dont know how to do that, go to the manufacturer websites and get the latest drivers.

Thanks,
James

Hi Friend,
I had a computer related problem for last few days. I called tech support people (www.mytechsupportstore.com) and they instantly changed few things and you won’t believe that my PC then started working very fast. If you want to try the services of “MTSS” then you can also give them a call at 1-866-515-9918.

Thanks,
James
