i was wondering if it would be smart to buy a pci fan card. will it really help all that much? just wondering.

I havent used one of those, but looked them some, hoping to cool my video card. basically, I would recommend a case fan if you have that option. the case fan will move a lot more air, covering more area.
look at the specs for CFM on any fan. thats the amount of air moved, in cubic feet per minute. many cheap fans will be in the low 20's. a standard antec case fan moves 34, and usually costs the same or maybe a dollar more.
not sure what those slot fans move.

they move like some where in the 20s to high 30s, depending on how u set them. they're controlable through the pci slot i think

im getting like 2 more case fans too, but i was just wondering if that would be worth getting as well

usually i take the side panel off of my computer to get better cooling for a set amount of time if i know the cpu will be under stress

its by far the worst solution to a cooling problem, but i usually get a good 5°C difference at max which is actually pretty good considering the action taken
