Sounds and Audio Device Properties

I happened to go to "Sounds and Audio Device Properties" in Control Panel. On the dropdown menu for "Sound Playback", there are 61 Modem Line Playback items in addition to two others. Similarly, on the dropdown menu for "Sound Recording", there are 61 Modem Line Record items in addition to one other. Same scenario on the "Voice" tab for "Voice Playback" and "Voice Recording".
I tried to disable my modem, but "Found New Hardware" reinstalled it on reboot.
Any idea on getting rid of this mess???

In case anyone is interested in the solution that I finally got on my own...

After searching the Dell website for drivers and updates, I came across one for my modem...

Installed it and now I show only 3 devices...
