My primary computer has been getting quirky. It took two attempts to get it out of power saving so I decided to do a repair installation. Now after the repair installation I am getting the following messages,

"Due to unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings."

"the security center is currently unavailable because the "Security Center" service has not been installed or was stopped." The security center is empty under "Manage security settings for:"

"Validation failed for C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zlclient.exe. You probably are missing a necessary root certificate."

What is likely going on and how do I fix it?

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
