Good morning!

Looking to build a computer for my brother in law- very budget oriented. I want it to perform quickly for basic tasks: internet, pictures, video, etc. No gaming.

Is the only difference between the
Intel Pentium E6300 Wolfdale 2.8GHz and the
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Wolfdale 2.8GHz
the cache being 1MB larger on the E7400?

Is 1 MB of cache worth the extra $40?
Here's the newegg comparison: link

Thanks for your input!

Yeah just get the Core 2 duo, it's very cheap and mostly used over pentiunm's there is always room for upgrades, with that processor.
