So basically what happened to my comp is the port for my wireless internet card crapped out on me, i have no idea why, it just stopped working one day. I went out and bought a wireless adaptor that runs through a USB port, it works fine, but after i installed it i started getting these death screens. They happen randomly and out of no where, sometimes i can be on for 3 hours and nothing happens, sometimes it happens every ten minutes!!! All i use my laptop for is surfing the web and playing WoW, i just want to kill things in peace!!!

Here is the blue screen of death error message it gives me:

MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION

OXOOOOOO9C (OXOOOOOOO4, OX80546E70, OXB2OOOO10, OXOOO10COF)

any ideas on how to fix this?

Any help is much appreciated :)

~Dan

P.S. i looked everywhere in the forums and couldnt find this specific error, you guys helped me get rid of a nasty virus on my laptop, i hope you know how to fix this too lol

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Unfortunately, investigating hal.dll error is like a gamble, so you may want to read this: http://pcsupport.abo...ssinghaldll.htm

You surely can. It's going to be time consuming to eliminate one option after another, that's why I left you with the above link, instead of my wild guesses.
