Hey, I recently picked up that irritating redirect virus thats going around. First thing I did was delete all of my browsing history, and then did a system restore. My browser is now free of symptoms, but I just wanted to make sure that the problem is gone for good, or if there is anything else that I need to be aware of. I will post the Hijackthis log.

As a less urgent side note, there is some pretty annoying software that somehow made its way into my browser. I'm pretty sure its from the service BING.com but I have no idea how it got there. Anytime I highlight text in my browser a little magnifying glass appears, or sometimes an ad will pop up. If anyone knows what to disable to get rid of that, I would appreciate it.

Also, is it a big deal that so many processes say file missing?

One final question. When disabling from Hijackthis, is it only disabling the process, or all together deleting it from the registry? I would like to make sure that any malware is gone for good. I am somewhat new to troubleshooting so any explanation helps. Thanks in advance.

This morning the problem returned, so apparently the system restore did nothing. It stops for a while after a reboot, and then shows up later. So back at square one, what to do?
