Folders Problems in XP

I only re-installed my OS a few weeks back and decided to transfer my music cd's onto my PC.I then downloaded a program to help with ID tagging after ripping my cds.I decided to view all the folders as thumbnails in my music folder and it normally puts an album pic on the folder,then I would sort them by artist,albums by year and tracks in the correct order.I done this for all my CD's(took me 2 hours!) then my folders went wonky

Some folders would show thumbs from a different folder and folders stopped remembering their views etc,etc.I started googling and found some stuff on this such as refreshing thumbnails,remember last folder view etc,etc.I then used a microsoft fix it for you tool from the Microsoft Site and am still getting this problem.After doing this for nearly 50 cds then for that to happen was quite frustrating!Has anyone else encountered this problem and is there a fix for this?
