Hey i was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a wiring diagram for a hp pavilion XE783.?
I need to find the connection for the 3 wire that gives me sound I need to buy a new wire I know where one end connects on the motherboard but do not know where it goes from there

Wire broke? Are you sure? For years there have been no wires for audio to listen to audio through speakers - you simply connected your speakers directly to the jacks located on the back of the computer. Now if you wanted to use headphones, there would be a wire that connected from the motherboard to the case's front panel audio jack, but not connecting that would only disable the headphones option. So you really need to be more specific.

Sadly, I can't find a manual on-line for that model.
