:tazz:
this is nuts. I pride myself in knowing *something* about computers. As least well enough to know what to d/l and what to kick aside. But when all you mearly have to do is visit a site and then you wind up with several programs that not only pop up ads for casinos, pepsi, etc., you also get bombarded with programs that are trying to install into your computer AND programs that will re-introduce themselves after you delete them...then it's chaos.

I've used AdAware, Spybot S&D, Panda, and CWShredder thus far. The 1st three programs found simple ad stuff and got rid of most of them. The Spybot program said it couldn't delete a couple because it had to try again at restart, but it didn't work. The CWShredder said it found nothing.
The main culprit, as near as I can tell it this Aurora bit. Below is my Hijack This log. If anyone could be so kind as to tell me how to kill this problem I'd appreciate it infinatly! (AND if you could tell me the name and address of the people responsible for this adware junk so I can hunt them down and beat them into a much-deserved coma, I'll name my first born after you.)
Thanks!
