XP HOME PC

Computer desktop icons are disappeared any idea how to restore all of the icons.

Have run adaware, spybot, cw shredder et al.

Why are some System32 and some system32???

Also - we re-named explorer.exe to explored.exe because this was the only was that we could get any kind of response from it.
