Hi,

I am posting this for a friend of mine who can't himself because his computer won't turn on. He got infected with Malware Defender and just shut it down until he could find the time to get rid of it and now it won't turn on at all (no noise, fans, beeps etc...) there is a little flashing green light on the back but nothing else. Can this virus actually cause that somehow or is it VERY coincidental power supply or other hardware failure?

Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
