hp pavillion 7934 wont go past hp logo

Hi, some advice please when i try to boot it i get a blue background with a large HP logo in the centre and thats it, as far as i know F1 should get you into the bios but that doesnt work either, ive tried another HDD from a good machine, any help appreciated
