hello all.

i just bought a new video card can be seen here

for my intel motherboard. when i plug it in it gets to the windows xp (im running 64 bit pro)loading screen where the bar is loading and that is all, the screen is blank(black color). the monitor doesnt turn off because the power button is green.

do u think it is a power supply problem ?

this is my power supply it is 680 watts

i had to switch to my old video card just to boot up windows. im going to be installing windows 7 today and i was thinkin it could cure the starting problems?

i checked if it was seated properly and all that good stuff btw.

just looking for fast replies any input is welcome thanks again

nvm guys a fresh install of windows 7 did the trick
