Antivirus live can only get into setup utilities

My sister has gotten the Antivirus live on her HP Compaq with Windows XP. She can't run virus scan or get on the internet or restore or recovery while in regular startup. She can't download anything because She can't get on the internet. She tried to get into safe mode by pressing F8 and she gets "42 301 keyboard error". She gets the same with F10. The only thing she can get to is the setup utilities by pressing F11. she can't use any commands from run: while in regular startup.

I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you very much
