Are you sure there is no motherboard drivers disk?
If the motherboard was bought brand new there should have been a disk in the box with the board.

No this computer was bought with one, but then his dad took it to some cheap place to upgrade the motherboard so it would fit more ram. and he didnt get any disc or anything with it.

Any way to contact the store that did the upgrade?
You are entitled to that disk or the store can make a copy of it for you..
I suggest uninstalling the existing the video driver and then trying the last link i gave you for the scanner on Intel's site.

Yea i dont know whats up with this comp. Sound and video wont work. Cant play simple games on it or listen to music. Sound has the mixer problem and wont play music and video drivers wont install.

Sound and video would be on that drivers disk.
Let's try the Audio problem.
Go to Device Manager and then click on the tab named Device Drivers

Disable microsoft UAA bus driver ...
Uninstall UAA bus driver

Install realtek driver and it will work.
