I recently bought me a new PSU (OCZ modXstream-pro 700W) and replaced it with my old PSU 850W unknown brand,
because I'm getting a new GPU soon and my old PSU wouldn't be compatible with the GPU.
So I got my PSU first and installed it and booted my PC with my USB mouse and USB Headphone connectors in the USB port.
But then I encountered a problem, my Windows Xp 64bit SP2 is not starting right.
After I windows logo comes on and the bar is loading then everything turn to black and nothing is else.
So I got out all my USB connectors from the USB and plugged in my old ps/2 mouse and ps/2 keyboard and everything works fine.
:) I don't know what is wrong but I'm willing to solve this problem before I return the PSU back to the supplier.

Incase this help my system are:
Motherboard : GA-MA790GP-DS4H, http://www.gigabyte....GA-MA790GP-DS4H

Old Power Supply : 850W unknow brand (works fine with this power supply)
New Power Supply : 700W OCZ modXstream-pro 700W (no clue whats wrong with it)

Use your PS/2 KB and mouse to boot WIndows.
Then try to plug your USB devices in once everything is booted.

Thanks for the reply, but I found out whats keeping me from not using USB and windows xp properly.
Somehow I accidently touched the CPU fan connector and it wasnt attached correctly, but after checking all the connectors,
I found that that was causing the problem from the beginnin.
But finally I'm happy now, and I cant wait for my Video Card to come in :)
Case been solved :)
