Hi,

I have an hp dv6 series with windows 7 (64 bit) and a GeForce gt 230m graphics card.

Time to time (when I'm watching or have just watched) videos on the internet (on youtube etc.) the screen goes black, and then goes back to normal with a message in a bubble on the bottom right saying

"Device stopped working and has now successfully recovered".

Is there a way to solve this?

Thanks

Hello rajkk1,

When did this problem start occurring? How long have you had this computer? Any changes to your computer recently?

Try reinstalling or updating your video card driver. Try this one, perhaps all you need is an update :)

I actually got the computer a week ago, and I didn't update my drivers or do any major installations so if there are other solution than reinstalling my drivers I would rather try them first.

Cheers
