Hi there.

Can I have all the following security programs running on my computer simultaneously:

avast! 4.8 Home Edition
SpywareBlaster
SpywareGuard
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free version
Comodo Firewall

or will they conflict with one another?

Shouldn't be a problem but to make sure never have two of any type of program running real time protection at the same time.
In your case the spyware programs. Make one real time and one On Demand.

well I read that Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard were designed to run side by side. I think they were made by the same company?

just curious if anybody else has experience with these programs together.

No reason whatsoever to run both of them at the same time.

SpywareBlaster blocks you from getting infected by blocking access to malicious sites, malicious activeX content, etc.

Spyware Guard is a real-time program that alerts you to changes to your system that could have been caused by malware. Similar to Spybot Search and Destroy's Tea-Timer function. So you can run both side by side if you wish, but you have Comodo firewall installed, and if you have Defense+ active you don't really need Spyware Guard.
