Hi,

Have an issue with Windows Search not working on xp. When right clicking on a folder and attempting to do a search nothing executes. There are no error messages just seems "search" doesnt execute or take action. I already attempted reinstalling srchasst.inf as suggested on some forums i've read. We have 12 computers XP sp2 on a network with a windows server 2000 domain controller. Would there be a group security policy preventing this feature to work. This feature use to work before and all of a sudden stopped working we did enable some group policies on these computers but dont see why this would make it stop working since we have the same security settings set on other networks.
