IE keeps opening windows - Malwarebytes won't open

Hello, I've got some Maleware on this computer that keeps opening a new IE window every 2 minutes or so.

I was following the directions found here:

But I hit a snag because Malewarebytes won't run. I had to rename the setup file to make it run if that makes any difference.
