Can't Set 'my Favorites' Buttons in MS Intellitype 7.1

Just purchased a Wireless Laser Keybrd and can't reset any of the 3 My Favorites buttons. Choose a button and click on 'Configure' but just get 'What's This', etc.

Am I doing it wrong? Can redefine other keys (changed Web key to start Firefox instead of IE8, etc).
