I have Kodak Easy Share installed but cannot seem to open it. I tried uninstalling but it says that an instance is running and it cannot be removed while it's running and to close the instance in the tray. I have tried right clicking on the instance in the tray but nothing happens. I tried repairing (through the add/remove programs) and got the same error. There is an EasyShare.exe process running. I tried ending the process but nothing happens. Please help. I cannot download pictures from my camera while this is going on. :)

Hey amyaphiiz. :)

I would suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling.

Firstly download Revo Uninstaller to your desktop:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Next:

1. Double click on the Installer
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Follow the prompts
4. Reboot once it has completed

Now:

1. Go to Start
2. Click All Programs
3. Select Revo Uninstaller
4. Once it has finished loading select Kodak
5. Click Uninstall
6. Once the uninstallation has been completed, reboot your computer

Finally:

1. Go here to download the latest Kodak software:

http://www.kodak.com..._requestid=5231

2. Save the installer to your desktop
3. Double click on the installer
4. Follow the prompts and reboot if required

Let me know if you have any further problems or if you still can't uninstall. :)
