Hello and thankyou for looking.

When I log-in to windows (upon hearing the log-in tune) my speakers make a deep click-click-click sound for about two seconds. It sounds like they are turning on and off. It happens on every log-in, and then they are fine.

I used to have this problem a year ago, and it disappeared one day (I might have updated something). Recently I had cause to reinstall Windows XP-home, and the problem came back. I have no recollection of what I did to fix it previously.

If anyone has a possible solution, I would love to hear it.
Some specifications are listed below.
Thankyou.

Specs.
Logitech Z-5300 Speakers.
Pentium IV - 2.8G - w/hyperthreading
On-board sound.
