Hi, i really hope someone can help me here!!

I'm in the process of installing Windows 7 to my desktop PC & need to back up the ENTIRE content (well contacts & Inbox will do) so i can have it all back on my PC when i install W7 & reinstall MS Office 2007.

Is there any way of doing that easily? I've tried this guide http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270670 but it doesn't seem to work out as i can't find the Maintainence tab!!

I would suggest backing up your data and format the system. This way you can start with nothing but the native OS and try the videos before installing any other programs. If you want to save your Outlook's address's and Messages then go HERE and follow the steps.

You guided me to that help section before but in 1 of the very 1st steps the option is not available to me

Sorry, the correct name is "MS outlook 2007"

That is strange...
That set of instructions are for the messages...
Try to save the address book
Then lower down it shows how to backup the mail account settings

To export the Address Book to a .csv file, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, click Export, and then click Address Book.
I only have a "Import & Export" tab & it does not then give me the options below
2. Click Text File (Comma Separated Values), and then click Export.
3. Click Browse.
4. Select the Mail Backup folder that you created.
5. In the File Name box, type address book backup, and then click Save.
6. Click Next.
7. Click to select the check boxes for the fields that you want to export, and then click Finish.
8. Click OK, and then click Close.

So 'Archive Folders' & 'Personal Folders' is my actual email then (my inbox etc)?

How do i backup my contacts through that?

OK can you follow the instructions and get a screenshot where you get stuck.

To do a screenshot please have click on your Print Screen on your keyboard. It is normally the key above your number pad between the F12 key and the Scroll Lock key
Now go to Start and then to All Programs
Scroll to Accessories and then click on Paint
In the Empty White Area click and hold the CTRL key and then click the V
Go to the File option at the top and click on Save as
Save as file type JPEG and save it to your Desktop

Ok, when i click 'file' this appears (no 1 pic)

Then when i click it No 2 pic appears

Ok I'm trying to see why Vista is so much different then the XP OE
