ok, under my networking i have two, local area connections. the 1st one always says local area connection is unpluged, but thats not the problem. Local area connection 2 is connected but ebery hour or so it says a network cable is unpluged and my internet goes down. then i have to go to the back of my computer, unplug my 2wire, then plug it back in to get it connected. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

try:
1. updating NIC driver
2. using a different cable
3. use the other NIC

Howdy:

Go into My Networks and disable the one that has no connection ever..

Or, if it is the onboard NIC, disable it in BIOS..

If it is an add-on card, remove it from the system..
