Itunes cannot connect

my system is windows 2000 NT. Just recently when i try and purchase music on itunes I get and error message that says Itunes could not connect to the Itunes Store....

"Make Sure your network is active"

I have no problems with anything else.

What should i do?

Are you using any firewall programs? If so, make sure iTunes is added to the exclusion list. :)
